Description
La Rustica is an unpretentious little house built against the backdrop of a bourgeois home in Ghiffa, a small village on the shores of Lake Maggiore near Verbania.
For years it was used to house local maids and farm workers. This annex to the former owners' house has recently been completely rehabilitated and equipped with modern comforts.
The setting is quiet, away from urban traffic. A hiking trail passes nearby in the nearby wooded hills and provides access to the municipality's two curiosities: the Nature Reserve and the Trinity Sanctuary. The property is a five-minute drive from the lake and about fifteen minutes from the living areas: supermarkets, beaches, restaurants, etc. Ghiffa is located a few kilometres between the famous summer resorts of Cannero-Rivièra and Stresa and close to Verbania, the starting point for the much-visited Villa Taranto Gardens and the Borromean Islands. Welcome in German, English, French, Italian.
The fireplace shown in the photo is exclusively for decorative purposes.
1 dog of small/medium size (max 15Kg) will be allowed by previous request and only after approval. The cost for the dog is 5 euro per night. This structure does not accomodate cats.
Catering service and chef service is available on request.
Baby cot up to availability at a cost of 10 euros per night.
Refundable damage deposit guaranteed by credit card, the data will be recorded at check in or requested through the messaging system in advance.
City tax to be paid at check in.
Invoice available on request (application must be sent 10 days before check in (after this deadline it will not be taken in consideration).
Check in is done starting from 3pm till 8 pm at the cost of 20 euro.
In case of late check in ( previously planned) will be applied an extra charge to pay cash at check in as follow:
from 8pm to 11pm: 30 euro
after 11pm: 50 euro

Additional notes
- Arrival out of office opening hours: Arrange collection of the keys with the agency. The remaining amount must be paid the following day at the reception.
- The agency asks you to contact them a week before arrival to inform them of your plane/ship Nº and the arrival time to arrange key collection.
- We kindly ask you to phone us about your arrival time once you are at your destination.
- Refund of security deposit by cash the departure day, if not possible by transfer bank
- Refund of security deposit hand delivered on the departure day
- Refund of the security deposit by bank transfer is made between 5 and 15 days after your departure
- Refund of security deposit to the credit card 24/48h after your departure
- Arrival out of office opening hours: Arrange collection of the keys with the agency. The total amount must be paid in advance.
- Late arrivals: Make arrangements for late arrival with the destination agency. The total amount of the booking must be paid locally upon arrival.
